These are the win95 drivers AND software that came with the 8000-s, so far, in Win98, these disks have gotten both of the mentioned drives to work. (the 8000 was detected as an other device, and the QIC 80 wasn't detected at all) Hope they work well for you too! (1.8megs, zipped)
