Finally managed to get my Panasonic KXL-808A external SCSI CD ROM drive to work with Windows XP. (YAY!)
If anyone out there is trying to do the same you'll need to install the SCSI adapted manually selecting the ujdb130c.inf file which will in turn ask for ATAKMINI.SYS which I simply renamed from atasmini.sys that came with the NT drivers for the KXL-808A. GOOD LUCK ) I am so happy ... happy happy joy joy ...
