O windows não estava reconhecendo a unidade de fita. Instalei o patch e continuou não reconhecendo. Ao desinstalar o patch e reiniciar o windows a fita foi reconhecida automaticamente. Este arquivo foi obtido em www.microsoft.com/Windows98/downloads/contents/WURecommended/S_WUFeatured/1394/Default.asp, por uma indicação obtida no site da sony.(www.sony-cp.com/_E/Support/Download/Drivers.html)
