UDMA Mode Switching Utility (SETUDMA.EXE) The SETUDMA.EXE is the utility designed to switch the data transfer mode of Samsung HDD. SETUDMA utility should be used for the case that the transfer mode of the main board is different from that of HDD. In such case, data transfer error can happen frequently without SETUDMA utility because of transfer mode difference between HDD and your computer. Affected model Samsung HDDs whose names end with the letter 'D' or 'H'. e.g.) SV4084D or SV4084H (D UDMA-66 supported, H UDMA-100 supported)
